Panorama of Mountains is a decent try at capturing what I see when I look out from my balcony to the south.

October is booked. Other than that, open!

Bit of a bother getting there; it's rather off the beaten path. But once you get there, it's a wonderously quiet and non-hectic little corner of Earth. It's surrounded by incredibly beautiful mountains and topped with blue blue skies.

Lord, i LOVE being a Coloradoan! :)

Me too, except for some parts of the state. (Can't say I love Montrose much)

Is the hazy thing above the roof a mountain or an artifact?

What did you use to stitch the panorama?

That'd be artifact. Still getting the hang of Hugin.

It crashes on OSX when I hit 'optimize', even with just 2 photos.

Not hardly surprising. The UI code is terrible.

The algorithms are neat though!

Maybe when I get it to make a panorama of more than 1 frame I will appreciate them.

I thought about installing it on FreeBSD to see if there was any improvement, but it requires installing Java, which is not worth it. And there's that other Mono/.Net bit, which I find incredibly strange.

It's a kludgy frontend to some really good tools. But they're in all different languages, thanks to university CS programs.

Nice photo
Ari, that's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. :)

(Now I know a bit what you talk about when y'all mention the CO views. ;) )
