So I picked up my phone last night, and managed to drop it backward over my shoulder into a pan of water.

I'd buy the next phone to be waterproof, but really, there's no way to make it me-proof.

One time I almost dropped my phone off the edge of a railroad platform.

I pulled it out of my pocket to make a call, and it sailed out of my hand, bounced three times, and landed RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF THE PLATFORM. It teetered there for a minute as I inched toward it, trying to control my reflexes long enough not to do anything that would cause either the phone or me to end up falling over the edge and onto the track...and then I picked it up, put it back in my pocket, and just stood there in shock for a few minutes.

I turned around and my phone managed to fly out of my hoodie pocket and into Muffin, Mari, & Mitchell's toilet yesterday evening. It...hasn't been the same since, but at least it's working for the most part and seems to be returning to normal the more time passes.

I put a cell phone through the spin cycle once. It worked fine after it dried out, though the display was funked.
