Freedom to Tinker tells it how it is: encryption can't prevent copying.

Queen of Wands sucked way too much of my time yesterday. Just as I think it's run-of-the-mill, its humour surprises me.

... or maybe it just reminds me of another favourite.

the "Encryption doesn't prevent copying" thing seems like common sense. 'Digital reproduction' of music aside, you could always, say, reproduce it to a tape, then record the tape onto your computer ...
