I just read the first paragraph. It's enough to chill you, it's so beautifully written.

The unicorn lived in a lilac wood, and she lived all alone. She was very old, though she did not know it, and she was no longer the careless color of sea-foam, but rather the color ofsnow falling on a moonlit night. But her eyes were still clear and unwearied, and she still moved like a shadow on the sea.

I've read that book so many times I have parts of it memorized. My favorite line:

"It's a very rare person who's taken for who he truly is."

I want to have read it that much.
